Authentication

The CLI has its own auth flow and stores session state locally.

Commands​

boost auth status
boost auth login
boost auth refresh
boost auth logout

Login flow​

  1. Start login with boost auth login.
  2. Browser opens WorkOS auth URL.
  3. CLI polls login attempt status.
  4. Session is saved when callback succeeds.

The CLI prints the login URL and also tries to open your default browser automatically.

Notes​

  • CLI sign-in in your terminal is separate from browser sign-in on the web account page.
